Brandon Taliaferro
As a San Clemente native growing up on the beaches of Lausen and T-street, Brandon is passionate about the area in which he lives. “I have so many fond memories of growing up in San Clemente – the beach, Ocean festival, Junior Lifeguards, being a paperboy for the Sunpost…” These experiences and lifelong knowledge of south Orange county help Brandon pass on his passion to his clients.
A world class competitor, Brandon started his volleyball career at San Clemente High School (’96) and then went onto UCLA. At UCLA, he was a 4-time All -American and 2-time National Champion. He was inducted into the UCLA Hall of Fame in 2017. He was an alternate on the 2008 Olympic volleyball team. “Any success that I achieved in sports, it was because I loved it and I worked harder than everyone else. I wasn’t a great natural athlete.”
He transitioned from volleyball into owing his own plumbing business, A to Z Leak Detection, starting in 2004 to present day. His vast experience with home plumbing/construction and customer service help him advise his clients on one of their most important purchases of their lives.
Brandon co-founded 949 volleyball club in 2009 and he is still an active coach helping to teach kids skills that can be used on and off the court.
He is a father of two and his wife Heidi is a real estate attorney.
Pastimes include, surfing, foiling, volleyball, pickle ball and traveling.
